Arcade mode

Wrestling games the way you remember them.

Arcade mode lets you play matches that look and feel like wrestling games from past console generations. It’s for anyone who grew up with a controller in one hand and a wrestling magazine in the other.

Every era, its own feel

Each era is recreated in two layers:

  • How it looks: the graphics, camera and sound of that generation.
  • How it plays: the controls, the rules, and which systems are switched on. An 8-bit match might drop body-part damage and reversals entirely, just like the games of that time.

The same engine underneath

Arcade runs on the same match engine as the rest of the game, with each era set up as its own profile. So retro matches aren’t a separate mini-game. They’re the real engine, tuned to play like the past.

Every wrestler, every era

Each wrestler gets a move set and a sprite for each era. Move sets grow as the eras advance: a handful of moves in 8-bit, more in 16-bit, and more again as later eras arrive.

Which eras

Arcade mode starts with the 8-bit and 16-bit generations. More eras are planned after that.
