Match builder
If you can imagine the match, you should be able to build it.
Designed. These screens are mockups and aren't playable yet.
Every Exhibition match starts in the match builder. It works in four steps: Start, Layout, Rules, Wrestlers. Pick a ready-made match and play in seconds, or build something nobody has seen before.
1. Start
Choose a preset match type, load one of your saved matches, or build a new one from scratch. Presets fill in every setting for you. You can still adjust them where it makes sense, and the builder shows when you’ve changed a preset.
2. Layout
Set the stage. Choose up to 30 sides in any combination of team sizes: 7-on-1, four tag teams, 3-on-3-on-2. Up to 8 wrestlers can be in the ring at once, and more can join over the course of the match. Use one to four rings with 4, 6 or 8 sides, raised, at floor level or sunken. Add cages in chain-link, steel bars, solid panels or bamboo, around each ring or around all of them, stacked up to three tiers high with a ladder up to each one.
3. Rules
Decide how the match is won: pinfall, submission, knockout, count-out or disqualification. Or pick one special way to win, like first blood, putting your opponent through a table, escaping the cage, or grabbing an item hung above the ring. Then choose how it ends: first fall, last side standing, best of 3, 5, 7 or 9 falls, or the most falls before time runs out. Set the tag rules, time limits, rounds and rope types, and even turn on old-school disqualifications for closed fists or top-rope moves.
4. Wrestlers
The number of slots comes from your layout, so you choose who fills them last. Each side gets its own color, up to 8 people can play on one screen, and anyone can face anyone. In big timed-entry matches, every player can even pick their entry number.
Rules that always make sense
The builder keeps your settings consistent. A cage with a roof can’t be escaped, so “escape the cage” switches off. Falls count anywhere turns off count-outs. Whatever you build is a match that actually works.
Everything shown here is a work-in-progress mockup and may change as the game is built.
